The world continues to deal with practically nothing else than the death of George Floyd, and it seems to us in the editorial office that any other information and news is being forgotten. But some people have simply stopped perceiving this whole "case", and that's because public protests have become more like group looting, in which the winner is the one who takes away the more expensive product from the stores. So you won't find any information about the riots happening in the US in today's roundup. Instead, we'll look at how TikTok could turn into an educational app. In addition, we also pay attention to the series See from  TV+ and finally we look at the new hybrid from Ford.

TikTok may turn into an educational app in the future

It probably goes without saying that TikTok is one of the most downloaded apps in the world. At first, TikTok was an application in which users "sang" songs in a lip-sync way, or perhaps danced to the rhythm of certain music. Of course, in addition to its loyal supporters, TikTok also has countless detractors who get goosebumps as soon as they hear the app's name. Personally, I have never downloaded TikTok and I certainly don't plan to. But what I get is that TikTok is not what it used to be. Of course, the original content, i.e. various singing, dancing, etc. remains in the application, but some creators try to somehow enrich their followers with new information or various tips and tricks. This "change" is primarily due to the coronavirus pandemic, when people began to watch more videos on TikTok and tried to find original creations. Within the TikTok application, you can easily find content focused on sports, gaming, cooking, or even fashion.

In addition, live streams have become widely used within TikTok, allowing users to communicate together in live time. It's not just these live streams that could transform TikTok into a completely different content platform in the future. Users simply get bored with repetitive content after a while and start looking for something new. For example, so-called DIY channels, questions and answers on various topics, or the sharing of various tips and tricks for certain activities - for example, cooking - often catch on. If users "convert" in this way and start watching this content on TikTok, they can learn something or find out something interesting - which is definitely better than watching and filming dances. At the same time, these users will spend much more time in the app, which will generate more profits for TikTok. It can be said that in the future, TikTok could easily become a certain educational platform that would not only be used by children (or teenagers). Again, however, it is necessary to mention that dance and lip-sync videos from TikTok will most likely never disappear, so maybe it would be nice to divide the application in some way in the future also for normal and elderly people.

A blind person who helps with the filming of See

If you have watched or are watching content from Apple TV+, then you simply could not miss the title See, starring Jason Mamoa. As part of this series, a virus got into humanity, which killed almost the entire population. That part of the population that survived remained blind. One day, however, there is a twist and children are born who can see. In the See series, in addition to speech, touch is used to communicate - for example, a handshake. One press means for example "how are you?", two in a row again "watch out" and three "let's get out of here". Playing a blind person is definitely not easy - that's why Apple hired a special crew member who checks that the actors really behave as if they were blind. The person who controls the blindness of the actors is called Joe Strechay - specifically, he is in the position of blindness consultant. Strechay is currently 41 years old and has been blind since the age of 19 – making him a perfect fit for his position. It is thanks to him that all parts of the See look so perfect and believable.

The new Ford Escape Plug-In Hybrid

In the world of electric cars, nothing but Tesla has been talked about lately. Yes, of course Tesla is interesting and progressive in certain things, and it is led by the visionary Elon Musk. But this does not mean that Tesla is the only car company that produces electric cars. Other world car companies are also gradually dipping into electric vehicles. Despite the fact that many supporters of proper gasoline engines do not like it, unfortunately we cannot avoid progress. One of these companies that is starting to dabble in electric cars is Ford. Today, he presented the new Ford Escape 2020 with the name Plug-In Hybrid. It can travel up to 60 kilometers on a single battery charge, which is several kilometers more than, for example, the plug-in Toyota RAV4. The price tag of this model should start somewhere around 40 thousand dollars (approx. 1 million crowns). You can view the new Escape in the gallery below.
