Apple picker Today, Telefonica O2 was the first operator to send us official information about iPhone 4 sales in the Czech Republic. At the same time, she prepared a midnight sale from August 26 to 27 in the Prague store on Wenceslas Square for the most impatient.
However, for many, it may be unpleasant information that until further notice, the operator will practically offer the iPhone 4 only to new and existing customers when concluding a contract with a commitment of two or three years.
Telefonica O2: Telefónica O2 includes the new iPhone 4 from Apple in its offer. Customers will be able to purchase it in all 86 branded stores from August 27, 2010. It will be the first to be available to all lovers of the bitten apple at exactly midnight in the branded store in Prague on Wenceslas Square. Compared to its predecessors, the new model has a noticeably different design and a whole host of other improvements, including a new display and a new camera with the ability to record videos in HD quality. The phone will be available in 16GB and 32GB variants in black color.

This is better than I expected… :)
I'll probably be forced to switch to HTC Desire or Samsung Galaxy S, because my 3G doesn't suit me anymore and I simply won't pay that much for a 4G.
I just want to ask how much the Galaxy S costs, I was looking for it for a friend and I was looking at +2k and it's on the price of an iPhone, but you'll probably get a discounted price if I'm not mistaken, I'll figure it out ;)
The unsubsidized Desire costs around EUR 400, but it can be bought for EUR 350 as well, brand new, and the Galaxy S costs EUR 440, but it can also be bought for under EUR 400. Where the iPhone 4 costs at least 650 EUR and that is quite a big difference. I'll probably buy an HTC for now, and when the prices drop, I'll of course jump to sleep on the iPhone.

Quite yes, I paid the same for the 3GS, but only a contract for half a year with Vodafone.
Even if you want to force me to switch to 4, I wouldn't pay the money for it and go for half. It's quality, but 3GS is enough for me ;)
At first glance, it doesn't look bad .. the table is quite unattractive, but I don't see a small star anywhere on it that these prices are
– for the bond, probably for 3 years (it looks better because it is lower than for two years)
– without VAT (prices without tax look better and nicer)
so the table may look vague, but if I take the minimum bond for three years for 240 and the price is 16795 and I add VAT, I am again over twenty thousand bound for three years per leg. That doesn't sound so good to me anymore. I tried to check it on their website, I was expecting them to listen, but there is still only "coming soon" and give us your email and we will send you the info.

I have the current Neon M tariff (450 CZK) plus data (150 CZK), i.e. 600 CZK per month.
Am I to understand, according to the table, that the existing O2 iPhone plans are ending and being replaced by new ones - obviously less advantageous? Included in the monthly charge are the dates etc. I understand that everything will be revealed soon, but shouldn't it be clear by now?
The table only shows the minimum monthly payment. So the tariffs normally stay on. Yes, data is included in this.
And how do you know all this?
There's quite a bit of that in the press release. In addition, I assume that if they somehow changed the tariffs, they would have written it in advance.

I've also tried Vodafone and it's a little better in my opinion...
