Since January of this year, the Internet has been filled with various speculations about the planned reduction of the upper cutout. It has practically not changed since the release of the iPhone X in 2017, which a significant number of Apple users complain about. Currently, however, a smaller notch should be more within reach than we even think. Last month, there were even pictures of toughened glasses that confirm the reduction. The designer took advantage of these speculations Antonio De Rosa, who developed a really interesting concept.

As you can see in the images attached above, De Rosa has completely redesigned how we actually perceive the top cutout and has extremely changed the shape of the current iPhone. Instead of a cutout in the middle of the screen, in which the TrueDepth camera with the Face ID system is hidden, it stretched one side higher. Thanks to this, we would get an iPhone with a truly full-screen display. Due to the asymmetric design, however, an extra bit would stick out on one side. What is even more interesting is that the product is not called iPhone 13, but iPhone M1.

The whole thing seems really strange, and for now, few people can imagine that the iPhone would actually bear such a form. In any case, for the apple team, we have to admit that the design from the designer has its own special charm and we would certainly be able to get used to it rather quickly. What do you say about that? Would you welcome this change, or would you rather settle for the classic cut? You can find pictures and videos directly from the author on his portfolio.
