Pavel Jelic Press Release: Synology beat out other storage vendors, including IBM and Netapp, and according to the report IT Market Report 2019, published by T-Markt, Switzerland's largest IT media company, has acquired the second largest market share in the data storage market in Switzerland.
This research, conducted by Profondia, surveyed 13 Swiss companies that own at least 079 physical or virtual servers or 10 computer workstations. The results show that 100% of respondents have deployed Synology products in their environments, placing Synology in second place in the storage category.
The report also states that despite the presence of larger companies, Synology can quickly become the leading storage vendor in this market segment and remain competitive.
