Apple has launched a traditional event where it offers its products at special prices to students who are going back to school after the holidays. "Back to school never sounded so good" writes and offers free Beats Solo2 On-Ear headphones for Macs.
Students can save up to 6 crowns on all Mac computers. If they prefer to choose an iPad, they can get a discount of up to 159 crowns, depending on the model. It is important to note that the discounts apply primarily to university students.
In addition to discounts on Macs and iPads, Apple has also prepared a gift for every computer purchased. You can get Beats Solo2 headphones for free in one of six color variants, or pay an extra 2 crowns and get these headphones in a wireless version at a discount.
Purchases are required to apply discounts in the Apple Online Store for Education and the event lasts until September 18.
as they say... I'm not rich enough to buy an apple ;)
(or do you know another consumer electronics manufacturer that sends its old products to the graveyard with regular software updates? :)
if one day it gets to court and someone from the management is forced to testify about these practices, then the whole famous apple will be in trouble, it doesn't matter how big the guy is
Well, I don't know if you are talking about Macs, for which I find the support quite long, or about iOS, which also supports devices from 2011. Show me an Android device that was released in 2011 and supports Android Lolipop/Android M...
maybe android 2014 or 2015 would be enough :D
I agree with that, but I have to say one thing. It's nice that iOS support is long, but can anyone really work with iPad 2 iOS 8?? Certainly not me.
I don't know on my 3rd generation iPad it still works fine. From what I've heard, it's terrible on the iPad 2, but a friend has the iOS 2 beta on the iPad 9 and it seems to have helped a lot, so we'll see what autumn brings. Anyway, it's an early 2011 device that will be supported until at least fall 2016.
And for example, the iPhone 4S with iOS 8 has quite a few problems, but it still works quite well, and it was introduced only half a year later. And with iOS 9 there is also a big improvement which I can confirm from personal experience. Anyway, on devices from iPad 3rd generation and iPhone 5 which is early 2012 and fall 2012 it's fine.
Obvious troll is obvious. And if not, I feel sorry for you.
And any proof of this nonsense? Otherwise, what do you use for such extra quality?
It's about optimization. The system is constantly improving and more and more performance is needed, which is why it also happens that older models are simply no longer supported. It's not that Apple wants to deliberately bury its old products, but that they simply stop being fast enough for the system, but that's not the case only with Apple.
they will stop being supported in terms of SW news. However, they remain functional. And often many more years.
if you think about a PC for a VS student... no one studied at the university because you don't know that the vast majority of students will have to use windows or software, what is needed for VS? that is, if you don't want to work on school PCs :D (even that stupid excel is not compatible in terms of functions (formulas) :D
I don't know, I'm currently studying and I don't know if I would need Widle :D
It is clear that you have no experience with this at all. At home, we normally use one 4-year-old Macbook and another 8-year-old Macbook. For home and work things. So you missed it badly here. :-)
Exactly. We, on the other hand, use iMacs that are 8 and 4 years old, both without problems. I think we have a first gen iPad, it works fine. The last one with a PC changed after 2 years... We are still going :-)
I know, for example, that Acer sends its products to the graveyard about a day after launching them on the market. This year I sold my 5-year-old Acer laptop and had to buy a new Winy 7 for that, because Acer doesn't even sell those ofiko full of bloatware anymore if you forget to make a recovery copy.
macbook ideal thing for students. I gave my daughter half of the money for a new MacBook because she is on a high. light, portable and at the same time a sufficiently powerful product for her to last her at least until the bachelor.
I think that students need money for something other than overpriced beats headphones before the new semester. but Zazobanci are everywhere, that's a fact.
they don't buy headphones, but they only get mac and headphones as a bonus :)
and when the headphones shoot at the aukra, they will improve a little :))
After 5 years, Apple holds such a huge value that I sold the MB Pro here for 12 when I had it in much better condition than on the net where they were selling it for 500-14. It was sold immediately. After 15 cycles, the battery is still fine and can be used without a power adapter for 650-4 hours. Show me another machine. Similarly, a friend's Vaio and Lenovo after 6 years without an adapter for even 2 minutes and, among other things, it's plastic shit that is not available in stores, it has more value to just keep it at home for surfing and not even that.
Does anyone know since when Premium Resellers have a "Back to school" promotion?
