The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic is affecting the plans of almost all streaming services. Production is temporarily suspended by Netflix, Disney and  TV+. Which shows got a stopwatch?

Late last week, The Hollywood Reporter reported that Apple was suspending production of its shows for the  TV+ streaming service. The temporary break concerns, for example, the filming of Foundation, which took place in Ireland. The decision to suspend the filming of Foundation was made after the Irish Prime Minister issued a ban on gatherings of more than a hundred people indoors and more than five hundred people outdoors. The second season of The Morning Show also got a stopwatch, as did See, Lisey's Story, Servant and For All Mankind. It is not yet clear how long the filming of the mentioned shows has been suspended for.

Netflix has also temporarily suspended the filming of its shows in the United States and Canada. This is, for example, the production of the fourth season of the popular series Stranger Things, but also The Witcher, Sex/Life, Grace and Frankie or the movie The Prom. Hollywood studios are also suspending the filming of new movies - Batman or Disney's The Little Mermaid, for example, have recently been put on hold. It is still too early to make any speculations or guesses as to when filming will resume.
