A group of four developers who call themselves the Sokpop Collective set themselves the task of developing one game per month with iron regularity. With the support of their fans, the four managed to complete eighty games already. Because these are relatively small games, developers can let their imaginations run wild and create concepts that otherwise wouldn't be able to carry a full-fledged video game on their own. Their last, rather complex, piece is an original mix of the deckbuilding genre with the Stacklands building strategy.

At first glance, Stacklands differs from classic building strategies. Instead of picturesque three-dimensional models of buildings and inhabitants in your village, you will only encounter their representations on two-dimensional cards. By playing them from your deck, you then build all the infrastructure. By moving individual cards around the playing field, you give orders to your subjects.

The main goal of the entire game is to defend your villagers, both from hunger and weather ailments, as well as from monsters that will regularly attack your village. A key resource is the mind cards, which give you recipes for constructing increasingly advanced buildings. According to the developers, folding the cards will occupy you for up to five hours, which is sufficient considering the low asking price.
