The battle between Apple Music and Spotify continues for the benefit of all users, and the latter music streaming service presented the latest news this week. Spotify offers another automatically compiled Daily Mix playlist, which this time presents you with your favorite music.

After the success of Discover Weekly a Release radar Spotify has created another playlist generated by smart algorithms, which is called Daily Mix and will work in the opposite way from the two mentioned above. Instead of new music, it will try to present you with your most popular songs.

Users receive between one and six Daily Mixes each day, depending on how often and how much music they listen to. Spotify will update these playlists every 24 hours to best suit the listener's tastes, but often these may only be minor changes and replacements.

Daily Mix is supposed to offer the user practically endless listening to the most popular music from all the artists he has ever played on Spotify, so there is often no need to compile such playlists with his favorite songs. This is the answer from Spotify to the new "For You" tab in Apple Music, which works similarly.

For now, users can only find the Daily Mix on iOS and Android, Spotify will soon expand it to other platforms.
