Speculations related to the upcoming iPhone SE 4th generation are gaining more and more momentum. No wonder - the iPhone SE is usually introduced during the first half of the year, and although it may not seem like it, this date is approaching. However, in the course of the past week, new, interesting information regarding this upcoming model came to light. The second part of our today's roundup of speculations will also cover upcoming news. This time it will be about the new Macs and their future, or release date.

Release of iPhone SE 4

At the end of October, reports began to appear in the media that finally clarified the details regarding the form and release of the 4th generation iPhone SE. Today, we already consider its arrival as a matter of course, question marks hovered around the date of its release and also about its form. All previous generations of the iPhone SE were introduced in the spring, i.e. during March or April (iPhone SE 2020). However, Mark Gurman from Bloomberg reported last week that in the case of the iPhone SE 4, we could see the introduction of the new model as early as February.

In connection with the iPhone SE 4, another interesting news appeared in the past week, this time regarding its appearance. So far, the speculation has mostly been that the 4th generation iPhone SE should resemble the iPhone XR in appearance. But at the beginning of this month, analyst Ross Young commented on his Twitter about the design of the iPhone SE 4 in the sense that it has not yet been unequivocally decided, as well as the diagonal of its display. In addition to the appearance of the iPhone XR, there is also the possibility that the fourth generation of the iPhone SE will look like the iPhone X or XS. The MacRumors server, citing Ross's Twitter, said that the company is currently deciding between a 6,1" OLED display, a 5,7" LCD display and a 6,1" LCD display.

Gurman: No new Macs until the end of the year

The website MacRumors brought a report during the past week, in which, referring to the analyst Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, it states that we will most likely not see the arrival of new Macs until the end of this year. All of the planned news, including updated versions of the MacBook Pro, Mac mini, and Mac Pro, should be released in the first quarter of 2023, according to Gurman. Gurman made the announcement in the latest edition of his regular Power On newsletter. The new computers, along with other products, could be officially unveiled at the Spring Keynote next year.
