Our roundup today of the Apple-related speculation that has surfaced over the past week is going to be a little weird. It will talk about only one speculation - it is the work of leaker Jon Prosser and it concerns the design of the next generation Apple Watch. The second topic of our article will no longer be speculation in the true sense of the word, but it is clearly very interesting news related to the further use of AirPods Pro headphones.

The new Apple Watch Series 7 design

It might seem that when it comes to the design of the next Apple Watch - if we leave aside, for example, a drastic change in the shape of the body of the watch - there are not too many innovations that could be introduced in the next generation. Well-known leaker Jon Prosser hinted last week that Apple could introduce a design similar to the iPhone 7 or the new iPad Pro for its Apple Watch Series 12, i.e. sharp and distinctive edges and edges. Prosser also mentions that the Apple Watch Series 7 could also be available in a new color variant, which should become green - a similar shade to what we can see, for example, in the AirPods Max wireless headphones. The design change for the new Apple Watch also makes sense according to some other analysts and leakers. News about a possible change in the design of the Apple Watch Series 7 also comes from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who states that Apple is certainly already working diligently on the relevant changes.

AirPods Pro as an aid for the hearing impaired

Although there is a wide variety of hearing aids available today, including models that have a really modern, unobtrusive and minimalist design, many people still perceive these types of aids as a stigma, and these accessories are often rejected even by the disabled themselves. The latest report says that users who live with only mild hearing loss could, in some cases, use wireless Apple AirPods Pro instead of classic hearing aids. Apple, for understandable reasons, does not promote these headphones as a possible health aid, but when paired with Apple Health, it is possible to create the appropriate profile and then use AirPods Pro to amplify ambient sounds. The research company Auditory Insight is behind the mentioned study, which also examined Apple's research on healthy hearing in order to gain the necessary context. The Apple study was conducted between last year and this March, and during it, among other things, it was shown that 25% of users are exposed to disproportionately noisy environments in their surroundings every day.
