Apple according to latest news increases the production volume of MiniLED displays, and also involves more partners in the relevant production process. In the last three years, Apple has gradually implemented mini-LED technology in several of its products, including the 12,9″ iPad Pro or the high-end MacBook Pro.

This year, a slightly larger number of products should boast a MiniLED display compared to the past. At the moment, the main supplier of mini-LED chips for Apple is the Taiwanese company Epistar, but due to the growing demand for this type of technology, cooperation in this direction will gradually expand to other entities in the future.

Dark mode toggle for Safari

In the course of the past week, there have also been reports on the Internet that Apple is preparing an integrated dark mode switch for future versions of its Safari web browser. The aforementioned reports base their claims on data discovered in the open-source code of WebKit. If the aforementioned switch were actually implemented in future versions of Safari, users would have a great opportunity to set their color preferences for each web page separately, without having to rely on system-wide mode changes. However, it is not yet certain when and if these changes will be announced and put into practice.
