As the week draws to a close, here's our regular roundup of Apple-related speculation. This time, for example, it will talk about the new MacBook Air, which, unlike the current models, should be characterized by a more generous display diagonal, and which Apple should introduce to the world relatively soon.

We could expect a MacBook Air relatively soon

In our regular roundups of Apple-related speculation, mentions of the possible imminent introduction of a new MacBook Air have been popping up more and more often. They also upload the theory that we could expect a new model relatively soon the latest news from last week. The server MacRumors published a report this week, according to which Apple could release a new MacBook Air equipped with a 2023″ display as early as 15.

Future MacBooks could be launched in the following colors:

Analyst and leaker Ross Young, who works with Display Supply Chain Consultants, among others, said that Apple is already working hard on the mentioned model of its lightweight laptop. For example, Mark Gurman from the Bloomberg agency already came up with news of a similar type in the past. However, the development of the 15″ MacBook Air does not mean that Apple wants to get rid of the smaller, 13″ model. It is speculated that the company could first introduce a 13″ MacBook Air and a little later a larger, 15″ model.

When will Apple hide FaceID completely under the display?

The cutouts at the top of the displays of the newer iPhones have been bowing in all cases for a long time, and there is also increasing talk that Apple should hide all the relevant components completely under the displays of its smartphones in its future models. At the beginning of last week, MacRumors a report appeared, according to which the company should decide on this step with the iPhone 15 Pro. MacRumors cites a source in the form of Korean website The Elec for this report.

Hiding the Face ID system on iPhones should happen gradually. While in connection with this year's iPhones, there is talk that they should have a cut-out in the shape of a hole, or a combination of a hole and a second, smaller cut-out, according to the mentioned sources, the iPhone 15 Pro should be equipped with only a small hole for the front camera. Samsung's technology should contribute to putting this principle into practice, which, according to available information, intends to try it first with its forthcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5.
