After a week, on the website of Jablíčkára, we are once again bringing you our regular summary of speculations regarding the company Apple. This time we will once again talk about the second generation of AirPods Pro wireless headphones and what functions the new model should offer. In the second part of the summary, we will focus on the Apple Watch Series 8.

How about the AirPods Pro 2 health features?

In the past summary of speculations, we informed you on the pages of our magazine that the technical specifications of the second generation wireless Apple AirPods Pro headphones had been leaked. Of course, this was more of a non-guaranteed report - as is the case with speculations and leaks - but certainly many users were pleased by the mention of possible health functions. Unfortunately, the latest news is more about the fact that we will have to wait for this feature in AirPods Pro for some time. Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman stated in his latest newsletter in connection with the aforementioned headphones that AirPods will definitely not receive the heartbeat detection function at least this year. However, he specified that Apple is working on these functions and testing them, but unfortunately they will be put into practice only later.

New feature in Apple Watch Series 8

We'll stick with Bloomberg's Mark Gurman forecasts. In his mentioned latest newsletter, he also commented on the topic of the future Apple Watch, specifically the Apple Watch Series 8. We already learned about them last week, among other things, that they will most likely be equipped with the S7 chip, which is already found in the two previous generations. However, according to Gurman, the Apple Watch Series 8 should also offer something extra – the long-awaited body temperature measurement function. Rather than the classic measurement we are used to with traditional thermometers, however, according to Gurman, it should be a matter of detecting an elevated temperature and then alerting the user that the user might be ill. But the question is also how such measurement should take place in practice. Considering that the temperature of the human body can sometimes fluctuate greatly even in completely healthy individuals, the measurement (or detection of a possible increased temperature) will take place rather based on the launch of a specific application.
