If you are a fan of winter sports and ski jumping above all, then you should definitely not miss the game Ski Jumping 12, which is the successor of the successful "eleven". The title from German developers offers a very realistic processing of ski jumps with excellent graphics and gaming enjoyment.

It's really not a ski jumping arcade, but a faithful rendering of one of the traditional winter sports. Excellent graphics processing with Retina display support offers a great experience. In addition, Ski Jumping 12 comes with more than 20 real sports venues that we know from TV screens. With our jumper, we will look, for example, at Zakopane in Poland, Sapporo in Japan, Vikersund in Norway, and we won't miss Harrachov in the Czech Republic either.

However, the development team of Just A Game does not have a license for the jumpers themselves, but the Germans tried to be as believable as possible, so at least the first names and the pleasant first letter of the competitors are correctly listed. So anyone who has at least a little knowledge of the ski jumping series will definitely recognize most of the names.

If the absence of official names bothers someone, they will make up for it with quality controls. We can choose between two ways to tilt our pilot - either by tilting the device or using the buttons on the display. From personal experience, I can say that tilting the device is much easier, but of course it is up to everyone which method suits them better.

During the competition itself, several factors must be combined to make the jump successful. Before you even drive up the ramp, you need to check what the wind is blowing - in which direction and at what speed. Because if it goes down headlong and the wind is not favorable, your flight will look like that too.

Once you get going, you have to constantly balance your footing and then time your jump correctly on the rebound. In flight, you balance again, and the same process takes place at impact as at rebound, so it is primarily a matter of correct timing.

At the finish line, you can see the percentage of success for each of these four actions - the higher it is, the better your jump was, of course. You are then rewarded, just like in real life, with points from five judges. Together with the length of your attempt, everything will be added up and the current location will light up. The race is always two-round, and to progress to the second, final round, you need to place yourself among the top thirty in the first round.

You can choose from several game modes: World Cup, Tournament, Cup and Custom Cup. In the world championship, you gradually jump on all the available bridges, the tournament is based on the elimination principle (whoever jumps better from the selected pair advances), and 15 competitors start in the cup, with the three worst eliminated each round. There is also a quick game mode.

In Ski Jump 12, there are also achievements that you gradually reach, and you can also view the trophies and records you have won.

The last item in the game is the shop, where you can buy upgrades for your squadron or equipment parameters or open all the racetracks. The complete package of these bonuses can be purchased for $2,99. However, the game itself costs just 79 cents, which is plenty enough to keep you entertained for hours with Ski Jump 12.
