You rush home from work, turn off your computer and run to the tram. Immediately you realize that you forgot to edit the text of one document. You hesitate, it occurs to you that everything must be done in the morning. And so you start thinking about getting off at the next station. But then, instead, you get more comfortable in the sofa and reach into the bag for your iPad.
At the same time, it is not so long that there is nothing left but to go back to work. Especially if you had Windows computers at work and Macs at home (or vice versa), the transition wasn't always entirely painless. But all that is in the past, Office 365 has completely changed the rules of the game. With its subscription, you can work just as comfortably on an iPad, Mac, iPhone as on computers or tablets with Windows.
You can even work on the same document simultaneously with colleagues or friends who are connected from different platforms. With Office 365, you are absolutely sure that the documents will look the same no matter how you open them on any device.
Office in your pocket (or bag)
Next time, you will stay completely calm and you won't even think about going back to work. Simply launch Word on your iPad and get to work. With an Office 365 subscription, you have access to Word, Excel and PowerPoint with full touch control support and all the functions you are used to from a desktop computer. You can edit, edit and, of course, print the texts if needed.
Whether you're using Office 365 on an iPad or an iPhone, you don't have to worry about conversions, on the contrary, all formatting and settings will be preserved. However, all comments, notes and revisions will be retained. And since the Lync 2013 or Skype communicator is also available for the iPad, you can easily connect with a colleague who is still in the office (or anywhere else) from the tram and discuss possible modifications with him.
You can also use the handy OneNote notepad, which is a very useful tool for planning anything, but also handles check-off lists, for example. So if, for example, you need to confirm some steps in a project with your colleagues or perhaps create a shopping list, you can do it easily on a computer or laptop, and then tick off one by one on a mobile device.
Mutual cooperation is also facilitated by the full integration of online storage OneDrive and OneDrive for Business. Every Office 365 user gets 1 TB (1 GB) of space to store their files. They can of course be documents, but also videos, photos or music. At the same time, files are automatically synchronized to devices connected under the same account - both mobile and desktop. If you set up file or directory sharing in this way, you can easily share photos from the event with colleagues or friends, or collaborate on texts, tables or presentations remotely.
In addition, since October 28, 2014, Microsoft began to increase the storage capacity of OneDrive to unlimited data for customers with an active subscription of Office 365 for homes and individuals. This is a further expansion of benefits for Office subscribers in a short period of time.
Corporate email without the hassle
Although there is a quality email client available on Apple devices, the connection to corporate mail did not always work perfectly. But if you have Office 365, you can forget about such a problem. Business customers can get a complete business mail solution with a 365GB mailbox and Exchange support as part of an Office 50 subscription. The Office Web Access (OWA) application is available for both iPad and iPhone, which offers not only e-mail, calendar and contact management functions.
Even on iOS devices, you can use OneDrive for Business or SharePoint to work with company documents. Even on the go, you can stay in touch with colleagues and collaborate with them.
The basic subscription for private use, Office 365 for individuals, is designed for one computer and one iPad tablet, and can be obtained from as little as CZK 170 per user per month, including huge OneDrive storage space. For entrepreneurs and companies, an Office 365 Business subscription is available, which is intended for 5 computers of one user, including 1 TB of space on the OneDrive storage for companies. The price is approximately 250 CZK per month. More information can be found at www.officedomu.cz or for entrepreneurs and companies at www.officedoprace.cz.

With the compatibility of Office on Windows and Mac, it is not so famous. Everything is OK, but the update of multi-level content does not work on the Mac, while it works fine on the iPad.
It is possible that this will improve with the new Office for Mac next year.
Then, unfortunately, I can't do without Parallels, Windows and Office on Win
Although it's all beautiful, but
Even Google DISK can handle the vast majority.
Personally, I don't miss Office and I'm glad to...
This is the second advertising article on Office 365 in a short period of time. And although I will repeat myself, I will say it anyway: give me the opportunity to buy your product for a one-time price and I will gladly do it. I am not even afraid of amounts in the order of thousands of crowns. I don't need storage - I have Google, Dropbox and iCloud. You're not interested? OK. Then don't be surprised if it doesn't sell as well as you would like.
what are you talking about? of course this possibility is and will always be here. so buy as you write, if you didn't lie, they are both for win and mac.. http://office.microsoft.com/cs-cz/home-and-student/zakoupeni-sady-microsoft-office-2013-pro-domacnosti-FX102918374.aspx
Please read the article before accusing someone of lying. I am responding to a PR article that praises office on iOS. Your link to office for personal computers. You can't buy Office on iOS for a one-time price.
here is http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/mseea/cs_CZ/pdp/Office-for-Mac-Home-and-Student-2011/productID.254538300
but it's on Mac and not iOS ;-)
Exactly;-) I know it exists on MAC. But I'm talking about iOS all the time. You cannot purchase a one-time license for iOS.
Why should I buy some Microsftacky polo Windousacky product when I have Apple's iWork package tailored to OS X for FREE? My head is spinning, or are you going to start advertising PCs with widlema here in a moment??? :-O
My words and total agreement. iWork !!!
The prices are horrible….. And the same for the popular “student” versions.. The same goes for their OS. For years I bought MacOS for maybe 400. The student version of winšmejd was over 2k. This office the same. Why can't I buy that's the bottom line I need... like in iWork.. I only bought Keynote that time... because I didn't need anything else. Here I will buy expensively what I don't need. In addition, sometimes with some Skype credit, which I am absolutely not interested in. Microsoft's set policy is a slap in the face.
BTW: not to mention the fact that the 360 is really ugly in terms of design. And their friendliness will never catch up with iWork
IT IS! Personally, I think that Office is primarily intended for renegade Widlí .. who switched to OS X ... and maybe they are somehow used to it, or they don't have the balls to switch completely :) ... njn ... so let the tribute pay ... :p
Well, it's more about if you need to communicate with the outside world. I have not come across the use of Pages, Numbers or Keynote anywhere in companies. For personal use of iWork, perhaps otherwise difficult.
Unfortunately, even converting iWorks to Office and back does not work correctly.
I still haven't found out anywhere how to make hard spacing in Word on the iPad. Microsoft technical support advises to use Opt+Space, which of course is not possible - the iPad has no Opt. For that, they advise me to contact Apple support and that ends all their efforts. Apparently it's Apple's fault - they didn't supply the Opt button. :-))) But I see a mistake on Microsoft's side - for 2500 crowns a year, I would probably deserve good advice on how to operate their product or at least a direct answer - hey, sorry, we're idiots, but you simply can't make a fixed gap there, you have to to take a desktop computer or a laptop.
I switched to a Mac a month ago, uploaded all my Office documents to iWork and I am satisfied. Of course, this means a lot of learning, I must have been working in Excel for years, and Numbers is completely different. But I don't regret it, the Mac world is interesting and welcoming. Well, I think it's nice to see that MS is trying to get on the Mac. In my opinion, this means a loss of MS power. After all, a leader does not need to undercut the competition and waste his strength on development for a competitive environment. MS is not because of Java, which was originally intended as multi-platform. Well, my opinion on the success of this whole effort is only that if someone really needs Office, he will have no problem working in Parallels and will not install a Win product in OSX. Of course, such a solution will not be ideal for iOS. But the price of 2000 per year is worth it for this bonus functionality of desna.
