When Apple holds a Keynote, it's an event not just for the tech world. Fans of the company are also entertained. This is simply because at these events the company communicates its news to the whole world, be it hardware or just software. How will it be this year? It looks like a rather dry spring.

We have some news here that Apple should launch new hardware products as early as the end of March. After all, the end of March and the beginning of April is a typical spring time for Apple to hold an event. However, the technological world is currently not moving forward very much and is mainly interested in software options, i.e. especially with regard to AI. So does it make sense for Apple to make such a hype around the news?

First to WWDC?

According to Mark Gurman Apple is set to launch the new iPad Air, iPad Pro and MacBook Air at the end of March. The problem here is that they shouldn't contain too much news. In the first case, only a 12,9" model and an M2 chip, possibly a redesigned camera, support for Wi-fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 should arrive. What more would you like to say about it? iPad Pros are supposed to get OLED displays and an M3 chip, with the front camera to be landscape-oriented. In addition, they are supposed to be extremely expensive, so their success cannot be guaranteed 100%. There is not much to talk about here either. The MacBook Air should also get the M3 chip and Wi-Fi 6E.

Bottom line, if these are the only news to come this spring (maybe even with the new iPhone color), there's simply not much to do around the Keynote. After all, remember the controversial autumn Halloween event, which actually also had no justification, but at least tried to highlight the M3 chip. There's not much to talk about here and everything, unfortunately for us, is enough to write two press releases (plus one about iPhones).

After all, Apple has recently been fairly criticized for a minimum of innovation, and if it held a special event and actually didn't show much at it, it would only play into the hands of the critics. In addition, printers fulfill the same purpose and are disproportionately cheaper. So it is quite possible that the first Keynote this year will not be until June and the second one in September. How it will continue will depend on the company's efforts and whether the M4 chip will arrive in the fall.
