Some games cannot be written about without mentioning the titles that clearly inspired them. At the same time, with the newly released project of the developer Pierre Vandermaesen, it is not at all difficult to guess what kind of classic it is. Tinyfolks have the legacy of Darkest Dunegon, one of the best tactical strategies of the last decade, written into their genetic information in capital letters. Instead of an oppressive atmosphere, Tinyfolks will bring back memories of playing on the classic Game Boy.

Like their more famous inspirations, Tinyfolks puts you in charge of recruiting and training a group of fighters. There is only one reason for all this - as the rightful ruler of the kingdom here, you must defeat the dark forces with the help of your comrades-in-arms and return to the throne. At the same time, careful planning will help you the most in your endeavours. All actions take time, which you don't have to spare. You have to return to the throne in one hundred and fifty game days.

You can mold your Tinyfolks into fifteen different professions. Fighters can use fifteen different weapons and over twenty unique artifacts that give you a lot of different bonuses. From easily sending your strongest minions, it turns into complex combinatorics in no time. When solving it, it's hard to believe that Tinyfolks is the work of a single, extremely talented developer.
