Apple has today expanded its ads in the App Store (Search Ads) to another 46 countries in the world, and the Czech Republic is not missing from the list. For developers, this means that they will be able to easily make their applications visible. On the contrary, the ordinary user will come across advertisements more often in the app store.

Redesigned App Store, which arrived on iPhones and iPads along with iOS 11, brought several new features. One of them is an offer for developers who can make their applications visible through advertising. This way, beyond the amount set by the developer, the app or game will appear on the front row after searching for a specific keyword - for example, if you enter "Photoshop" in the search, the PhotoLeaf application will appear first.

But the whole function is a bit more sophisticated than it might seem at first glance. Applications are displayed not only based on keywords, but also based on iPhone and iPad model, user location and several other aspects. In addition, developers can set the maximum monthly amount they want to spend on advertising in the App Store and only pay for installed applications - whoever offers more money for an installation will appear first in the ranking.

Advertisements in the App Store may appear to many to be Apple's pursuit of more money. But in fact, they can be a powerful tool for start-up development studios that want to make their new application more visible and get it among potential customers. Developers from the Czech Republic and 45 other countries also now get this option. From the original 13, Search Ads are now available in 59 countries around the world.
