Today's recap, and also the last of this calendar year, arrived a day earlier than usual. However, this does not mean that less information is expected of you than what you are used to. Quite a lot happened even in the last week before Christmas, so let's take a look at the most important things one more time. Recap #12 is here!

We started this week with some sad news for those who wanted to get their loved ones AirPods wireless headphones at the last minute for Christmas. As of Monday, they are sold out on Apple's official website, and the earliest dates for delivery are in January.

Another, sad news for some, concerned the impossibility of rollback to older versions of iOS. Over the weekend, Apple stopped signing iOS 11.1.1 and 11.1.2, and users with iOS 11.2 and later cannot go back. This isn't a problem for most of them, but if you've been looking for a jailbreak, you're most likely out of luck. iOS 11.2 is not going to be jailbroken yet.

On Tuesday, you could read a review of the Bang & Olufsen H9 headphones. This is a premium model made of top materials, excellent workmanship and solid playback quality. You can read the review at the link below.

In the middle of the week, the current case concerning the slowing down of iPhones really flared up. Indeed, direct evidence has emerged that points to the presence of a slowdown. The data pulled from the Geekbench database clearly shows when the slowdown occurs and how often it happens.

On the contrary, the positive news was the information that it was possible to get the production of the iPhone X to such a level that Apple can deliver it the second day after ordering. This information is probably of no use to you now, but you can use it as soon as the next work week starts after the holidays. There should be plenty of iPhone Xs.

In the middle of the week, we also got to see the most up-to-date footage of what Apple Park looks like now. It finally starts to resemble a classic park, due to the huge amount of planted greenery. The project is basically complete and it's a joy to watch it from a bird's eye view.

In the second half of the week, we could look at the list of the worst passwords that users used in 2017. If you find your password on this list, make sure to make a New Year's resolution to change your passwords. Don't risk the security of your accounts :)

The other good news was about Apple Pay. No, Apple's payment service is still not aimed at the domestic market, but it is gradually getting closer. According to the latest information, negotiations are underway between Apple and banks in Poland. The deployment of Apple Pay on the Polish market could start sometime in the first half of next year. It is only a short distance from Poland...

After several days of stormy discussions and the presentation of evidence, Apple has finally commented on the case of slowing down iPhones. In its official statement, the company confirmed that it is purposefully slowing down older iPhones. However, the reason is not what most users assume…

On Thursday, we made everyone who loves turn-based strategies happy. The official port of last year's Civilization VI was released on the iPad. This is a full-fledged version that you can play only on the latest iPads. Trial (60 moves) is free, after that you have to pay 30 euro (60 after January 15). This is basically a must for all fans of the genre!

We'll end the week with information about the first mass lawsuits against Apple starting to appear in the US. Of course, they focus on the latest affair regarding the slowing down of iPhones. It will be interesting to see how this case develops and how Apple gets out of it. That's all from us this week. Enjoy the upcoming Christmas and holidays.
