The original cheap alternative power banks from Swissten could not do much - it only had two USB output ports. At the same time, their design was not at all pleasing, due to the round and rounded shape. Swissten has decided to withdraw these ordinary power banks from sale and instead introduced a series of WORX power banks, which, as you can already guess from the name, simply work. Let's take a look at these power banks together.

WORX power banks from Swissten are available in a total of three variants - they differ only in the size of the accumulator, which then determines the size of the power bank itself. The smallest available WORX power bank has a capacity of 5.000 mAh, the middle one has 10.000 mAh, and the top version of the WORX series has a capacity of 20.000 mAh. Considering that these power banks are intended for ordinary users who look primarily at the price, WORX power banks do not have any extra technologies and gadgets for wireless charging or fast charging. You will be interested primarily in their price. Of course, I don't mean that these are cheap power banks, quite the opposite. Even this "basic" version of power banks from Swissten has a number of measures against short circuits, overcharging and other possible damage. All WORX power banks have two USB-A outputs (5V/2.1A) and one microUSB input.

Swissten also started using slightly different packaging for its power banks. In the case of WORX power banks, you will no longer get the classic white-red blister, but a more modern black-red one. On the front of the box, you will find the power bank itself pictured together with the basic features and, of course, its capacity. If you turn the box over, you can see instructions in several different languages. Below then you will find the specifications of the power bank along with other information you should know. After opening the box, just pull out the plastic carrying case in which the power bank itself is already located. You get a charging microUSB cable for free. You won't find anything else in the WORX power bank package - and nothing else is needed.

If we look at the processing side of the power bank, we can say that compared to previous "basic" power banks, it is simply great. Dark products are definitely more pleasing to the eye than white ones. Of course, WORX power banks are made of plastic, but in an interesting way. While the frame that "surrounds" the power bank is made of black glossy plastic, the top and bottom sides are made of interesting glittering plastic. There are also four LEDs on the top of the power bank, which tell you the percentage of charge when you press the side button of the power bank. In addition, further on the front of the power bank you will find the Swissten branding, then on the back you will find the specifications and certificates of the power bank.

I have to say that I really put up with the design of various accessories - whether it's a thing for several hundred or several (tens) of thousands of crowns. In addition, I am of course willing to pay extra for a certain product to work as it should, together with a great design. What good would it do me to have a designer gem at home that doesn't work as expected. Swissten WORX power banks contain high-quality Li-Polymer cells together with special protective electronics. All these components are packed into a pleasant body that you will definitely not get tired of. In addition, I can say from my own experience that even when the powerbank was fully loaded, I did not notice the slightest sign of heating. Cheaper power banks have a big problem with high heating, but this definitely does not happen in this case and the power bank did not heat up even with maximum use.
