Thanks to IPTV services, users have the opportunity to watch television broadcasts - both live and recorded - practically anywhere and at any time. IPTV services are usually available on tablets, smartphones, web browsers and smart TVs, and you can watch them even when traveling abroad. Our range of IPTV services is constantly growing. In today's review, we will take a closer look at the Telly service - you could already read a review of its iPadOS application on the LsA website last year.

What is Telly?

As we already mentioned in the introduction, Telly is a modern IPTV television that is tailored to each viewer. As part of the program offer of the Telly service, you can watch hundreds of TV channels from all over the world, not only on your TV, but also on a computer, tablet or smartphone, or in a web browser. Telly offers three different packages, divided according to the number of programs, while the smallest - for 200 crowns per month - contains 67 channels, the largest (600 crowns per month) contains 127 TV channels. As a big positive, I see the fact that Telly is very generous with trial periods and offers new customers various interesting promotions - at the moment you can use, for example, the possibility of using the extended offer when ordering a small or medium package, so you will be sure that you are not buying a hare in bag. You can also get a nice one with your order winter package – and an extra gift always pleases. A service in which you can Telly can also help you in making a decision try for free. Enough of the official information – let's move on to the Telly iOS app review.

Application environment

The main page of the Telly app for iPhone is very clear and I found it easy to navigate, even in vertical view. In the upper right corner there is a search button, in the upper part you will find a constantly updated list of tips for interesting programs. Below is an overview of recently watched shows, top-rated shows, a menu of genres, and on the bar at the very bottom you will find buttons to go to the home screen, to live broadcasts, the TV program and an overview of recorded shows. Controlling the application is easy, intuitive, and I got the hang of it almost immediately. In contrast to some competing applications, I rate very positively the way in which you can find your way around the program and switch to programs that have been broadcast before. After clicking on the selected item in the program, you will first see a window with information and buttons to play or record, so there is no risk of accidentally starting a program you don't want to watch. As far as functionality is concerned, I have never once had playback freeze, fail, or have any other problems, which is a big advantage especially when watching live sports broadcasts. I rate the image and sound as excellent.

Content and functionality

You can largely choose the content of the Telly app yourself. As I mentioned at the beginning, you can choose from three different packages, while even the cheapest one offers a sufficient number of programs. You can record all content to a personal archive for later playback - Telly offers a generous hundred hours in this regard. I consider the aforementioned offer of recommended and best-rated shows to be a great feature – the program offer in Telly is very rich after all, and without these tips you could easily miss interesting content. The "Similar" section for individual films and series episodes also helps with the discovery of other interesting shows. Searching for TV programs and individual programs works without any problems. As cliché as it sounds, in my opinion Telly is really a service for everyone - you can find domestic public and private TV channels, but also foreign content of all kinds, from news to sports to music or "adult" channels. You can easily and quickly set the quality of the streaming for the shows, I personally think the option to set "sleep" is great.

Finally

In the last few years I have had the opportunity to try a number of IPTV services, I dare to rate Telly as one of the best. I have absolutely no complaints about the user interface of the application, as well as the functions, program menu and transmission quality.

You can try the Telly app for free here.
