In today's review, we will look at a cheap but high-quality alternative to original adapters and cables from Swissten.

We received a total of two basic adapters from Swissten. The first of them, the cheaper one, is a classic replacement for the classic 5V - 1A adapter that you get with the iPhone (except for the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max, for which Apple supplies 18W adapters). Apple has been selling these adapters unchanged for several years at practically the same price. They are reliable, simple and there is simply nothing wrong with them. So I would definitely not be afraid to use a cheaper alternative from Swissten. The second adapter that arrived at our office is a bit more advanced - but quite common by today's standards. This is a classic adapter with two USB 2.1A outputs, so together this charger has a power of up to 10.5 W. You can use this adapter in places where you need to have two devices connected right next to each other. Both adapters are available in both black and white.
Packing
The packaging of both adapters is practically identical. In both cases, you will receive a box on which the color version of the charger is shown on the front together with the cable and other information. At the back, you will find the instructions for use and a window through which you can see the color processing of the adapter even before unpacking the box. You will then find the characteristics of the charger on the sides of the boxes. After opening the box, just pull out the plastic carrying case, which already contains the adapter itself together with the cable. Compared to the classic original adapter, you get a cable for more from Swissten, which is definitely worth it. There is nothing else in the package - as I mentioned, you can find the instructions on the back of the box and you won't need anything else anyway.

Considering that these are cheaper adapters that are supposed to impress precisely because of their price, you can't expect premium processing, for God's sake. On the other hand, you don't have to worry about the adapter falling apart in your hands, not even by mistake. I would compare these adapters from Swissten in quality to the adapters that come to mind when you think of "classic phone charger". They are therefore constructed of harder plastic, which should without a doubt withstand some kind of fall to the ground. On one side you will find the Swissten logo and then on the side all the information and specifications that the manufacturer must state. The adapters are nothing interesting, which is not even needed.

I have personally been using adapters from Swissten for a long time, not only the classic ones, but also for example Slim adapters, which in my opinion have no competition. However, as I have already stated several times, if you are simply looking for a classic and don't want to "invent" anything, then these adapters are right for you. They don't mess around and work exactly as they are expected to work. So far, I haven't had any adapters from Swissten stop working, and I've actually had a lot of them through my hands. I assume that it will be no different with these adapters after long-term experience. Unlike Apple, you can also choose whether to go for the white or black variant with adapters from Siwssten. The original white color may not fit everywhere, which is why a black adapter comes in handy.
