Every now and then a new photo editor comes out, but most of the time I end up going back to my favorite one. Personally, I will not allow it VSCO Cam, which was recently updated to version 4.0. I worked for a while with faded, but apparently the offered filters didn't suit me, even though many like them. Now the REBELSAUCE application has appeared in the App Store, which has the potential to become one of the more successful ones.

And it's thanks to the filters, which are very successful. In the basic offer of REBELSAUCE you get 36 of them, while you can buy another 8 packages of 5 filters or one big package containing all filters. As is often the case, a person eventually chooses two or three favorite filters from such a quantity and then sticks to them.

Photo editing is fairly standard. After opening it or taking a picture, a menu of filters, called REBELSAUCE, will appear first Sauces – so that your photos have juice. Hold your finger on the filter and a slider will appear to adjust its intensity. By sliding horizontally, you select from standard filters, and vertically, filters from additional packages.

Of course, REBELSAUCE offers basic adjustments to contrast, saturation, brightness, fade, grain, temperature, crop and rotate. It's a pity that these adjustments cannot be made with the slider, but only with the + and - buttons. Apparently, it's just a matter of habit and gradually this feature stops bothering me. However, what I completely miss in the application is the inability to change the exposure, which I sometimes need.

So far, I have a bigger complaint about the fluidity and "falling" of the application. Scrolling between filters is very jerky. I know, my iPhone 5 is a two-year-old model, but other photo editors are still smoother. Likewise, it regularly happens that the entire application crashes. I attribute both of these shortcomings to childhood illnesses, and I would expect the developers to focus on optimization in the next versions. Otherwise, I am pleasantly surprised and I can definitely recommend REBELSAUCE to all lovers of mobile photography.
