Press Release: QNAP® Systems, Inc., a leading innovator in computing, networking and storage solutions, has added two new members to its QHora router product line – QHora-322 a QHora-321 – in order to ensure the maximum performance of the high-speed cable network. As next-generation SD-WAN routers, both models provide enterprise-grade Mesh VPN and wired connectivity. For businesses and personal users who want to create a secure network environment and independent network segments for NAS and IoT environments, it is strongly recommended to connect a QHora router in front of NAS or IoT devices (any brand) to secure remote access and backup via VPN.

The enterprise-class quad-core QHora-322 offers three 10GbE ports and six 2,5GbE ports, while the QHora-321 offers six 2,5GbE ports. Both QHora models offer flexible WAN/LAN configurations for optimized network deployment, achieving high-speed LAN, simplified file transfer between different workplaces, independent operation of multiple segments and automatic Mesh VPN for multiple workplaces. Both QHora models further enable a connected VPN network topology via QuWAN (QNAP's SD-WAN technology), providing a reliable network infrastructure for prioritized network bandwidth, automatic failover of WAN services, and centralized cloud management.

QNAP QHora 322

"Data security is the main concern of organizations and personal users. To secure remote access and prevent possible attacks, it is strongly recommended to connect the QHora router before the NAS device for remote access scenarios. With additional features such as firewall and IPsec VPN securing SD-WAN, QHora routers provide a secure network environment and effectively reduce the potential threats of data loss caused by malware and ransomware,” said Frank Liao, product manager of QNAP.

QHora routers use the QuRouter OS operating system, which provides a user-friendly web-based graphical interface to assist with day-to-day network management tasks. The QHora-322 and QHora-321 are equipped with state-of-the-art network security techniques with an emphasis on securing access between corporate VPN networks and peripheral device connections. Features including website filtering, VPN server, VPN client, firewall, port forwarding and access control can effectively filter and block untrusted connections and login attempts. SD-WAN also provides IPsec VPN encryption, Deep Packet Inspection and L7 Firewall to ensure VPN security. In conjunction with the instrument QuWAN Orchestrator both QHora models help businesses build a flexible and highly reliable next-generation network.

Designed for modern offices, IoT and noise-sensitive environments, the QHora-322 and QHora-321 feature a near-silent design that ensures cool, stable and quiet operation even under heavy loads. Both QHora models have a modern design that fits aesthetically into home and office environments.
