Press Release: QNAP® Systems, Inc. today launched a compact and versatile NASbook TBS-464, which is designed for small workspaces and mobile workers. The TBS-464 uses four M.2 NVMe SSDs for data storage and supports HybridMount, which allows you to connect cloud storage and enable local caching. Thus, it is possible to work with online files as quickly as with local files. The multifunctional and near-silent TBS-464 device offers two HDMI 2.0 4K 60Hz outputs, hardware-accelerated transcoding and streaming, and is equipped with QNAP KoiMeeter technology for video conferencing and wireless presentations. With two 2,5GbE ports, the TBS-464 NASbook can reach speeds of up to 5Gbps using Port Pooling.

The TBS-464 features an Intel® Celeron® N5105/ N5095 quad-core quad-thread processor (up to 2,9GHz) with Intel® AES-NI encryption module, 8GB of DDR4 memory, and USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports for faster data transfer. The TBS-464 comes with the QTS 5 operating system, which provides a next-generation user experience and optimized user interface. HBS (Hybrid Backup Sync) effectively implements backup tasks at the local/remote/cloud level; block snapshots facilitate data protection and recovery and effectively reduce ransomware threats; HybridMount provides cloud storage gateways that integrate private and public cloud storage and enable local caching.

The TBS-464 supports TV/monitor media playback via two HDMI 2.0 outputs (up to 4K @ 60Hz) and converts 4K videos to universal formats that can be played smoothly on a variety of devices. The device is also perfectly suited for streaming media using Plex®. The TBS-464 can also be used with the QNAP KoiMeeter to create a high-quality video conferencing system and enable wireless presentation.

The TBS-464 series is flexible and versatile. The storage capacity can be expanded by connecting TL and TR storage expansion units. Businesses and organizations can also immediately benefit from the various applications of TBS-464. QmailAgent centralizes multiple email accounts; Qmiix integrates an iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) solution that allows applications and devices to be connected to QNAP NAS; Qfiling automates the organization of your files; Qsirch allows you to quickly search for all the documents you need. The functionality of the TBS-464 can also be extended by installing applications from the integrated QTS App Center.
