Pulse is one of the applications that are really good for iPad and iPhone. In essence, it is a classic RRS Reader. So what makes Pulse unique? You can read about it in today's review.

As I already mentioned, Pulse is essentially an RSS feed subscription application, but it offers a really interesting user interface. The main view offers you a view of your sources in individual rows, where you will see the latest news from the current RSS feed, including images (however, not every RSS feed supports the integration of images).

Each line can fit the last 20 news items of the given RSS feed. Pulse supports multiple screens, specifically 5. Each screen can fit up to 12 sources, which makes a total of 60 different RSS sources and 20 of the latest news in each of them.

The display of the selected administration is really practical, as the screen is divided in a ratio of approx. 3/1, where the larger half displays the complete administration and the remaining part shows all the administrations. There is also the option to display the RSS feed in text form only, or to have the entire page loaded, including images. If you use Facebook, you will certainly be pleased to see the latest statuses, photos and videos of your friends directly in the application

One of the biggest advantages of the application is full support with Google Reader. You can add resources very easily, and you can choose which ones to add and which ones not to. Another option is to search in the available online database of RSS sources, or add the source manually.

An interesting feature is the possibility of transferring all RSS sources from a second iPhone or iPad via Wi-Fi. The integration of direct sharing of the article on Facebook or Twitter will also please. What I miss, however, is support for the Read It Later service, but I believe that we will see it in one of the next updates.

For me, Pulse won the first place from other big players, such as Reeder or Flud. Its clear interface allows you to display RSS on a new, interesting level, which is guaranteed to catch your eye :) And best of all: you can find Pulse in the AppStore for free!
