Ulysses' sophisticated editor could make your work easier. The main currency of the application is the support for the markup language Markdown, thanks to which you can format the text, but also insert images or links just by typing on the keyboard. After opening the application and going through the instructions, you will see a library where you can create folders and add documents to them. iA Writer
If you're not comfortable with the per-app subscription model, but you're intrigued by the features of Ulysses, iA Writer could be the perfect fit for you. You can currently buy it for 779 CZK for iPhone, iPad and Mac, which is not exactly a low amount, but you really get a lot of music for your money. Again, this is an editor that supports the Markdown markup language. It can convert files to HTML, PDF, DOCX and WordPress, it also supports the preview of written text in HTML, so it can be checked directly in the application. To help you concentrate better, it offers two modes - Focus Mode and Syntax Highlight, where the first mode highlights the written sentence, the second the entire paragraph. Like Ulysses, iA Writer also offers advanced control of written texts, in addition, it can highlight frequently repeated nouns, verbs and conjunctions, but unlike Ulysses, it does not support the Czech language. If you own an iPad and the Apple Pencil is your inseparable companion, then Notability is likely to become an indispensable application on your device. It is an advanced annotation software where you can insert various drawings, images, web pages, files or GIFs. A huge benefit is the advanced audio recording, when the application remembers in which passage of the recording you just recorded, and you can easily move along these sections. This is useful for interviews, but also for various conferences and meetings. Notability can also convert handwriting to typed text, scan documents to PDF, and more. It goes without saying that you can import different types of files or insert hyperlinks into notes. Noted
This program could be described as a notepad and voice recorder in one. You can sort your notes into folders, the app can do basic formatting, insert images and media, and even supports writing on the iPad with the Apple Pencil. However, the reason to prefer Noted over the others is the advanced recording. In the recording, you can mark time periods in real time and move along them while learning. The Noted application is free in its basic version, but after subscribing to Noted+ for CZK 39 per month or CZK 349 per year, you will get many advanced functions. These include noise reduction in recordings, adjustable sound quality, cutting out silence, applause and other unwanted noise, or perhaps advanced sharing, where you can export the entire note as a web page so that even users who do not use Noted can easily view it. It is possible to convert notes to PDF, but in that case the user to whom you sent the file will not be able to move through the time periods as you wrote the note. As for syncing, everything created is automatically uploaded to iCloud.
