But there is one bad news. The last one suggests, that Apple is having trouble with its AR/VR headset due to overheating, a not-quite-working camera and, last but not least, software bugs, which could ultimately cause the company to postpone its plans to unveil the new product. On the other hand, renowned analyst Mark Gurman, who has na AppleTrack 87% accuracy of his predictions, he mentioned that the Apple AR/VR headset will be really expensive.

Gurman says that Apple typically charges a bit more for its products than its competitors, which has also helped it become one of the most profitable consumer electronics companies ever, among other things. The new headset will not be an exception in this regard, also because of the technologies used. Its price should be between two and three thousand dollars (approx. CZK 42 to 64, plus fees). It's thanks to the M1 Pro-like chip and 8K panels, along with advanced audio technology. The big question then is the shape of the controllers. However, of course, the product must benefit not only from the technology itself, but also from the long years of its development.

Whether the company presents us with Apple Vision, Reality, View or anything else, it is certain that we will pay accordingly for such a device. But the competition is not exactly cheap, even if the one from Meta it is, after all, significantly cheaper. Her Oculus Quest 2 it will cost you about 12 thousand CZK. And this is one of the cheaper options. HTV Vive Pro it will cost you about 19 CZK if you go for the variant HTC Vive Pro 2, the price here is already 22 thousand CZK and HTC Vive Focus 3 Business Edition it costs CZK 38. And then there are different editions and packages, with which you can easily reach even higher amounts, so you are already directly attacking the one likely for Apple's solution. This also applies to virtual reality glasses Pimax Vision 8K X, whose price starts at 43 thousand CZK.
However, it is still a relatively cheap solution in comparison Microsoft's HoloLens. Its "basic" HoloLens 2 they will cost 3 dollars, i.e. approx. 500 CZK. If you had a crush (and especially a use) for his Industrial Edition, it already costs 4 dollars, which is already an unpleasant 950 CZK. Of course, this is a different use of such a device than in the case of playing games with Oculus or HTC. The top edition Trimble XR105 with HoloLens 10 costs $2 (approx. CZK 5, this is HoloLens 199 with an integrated protective helmet).
Apple thus has a relatively wide spread of where to place its solution. A lot depends on who it will be aimed at, whether exclusively at consumers, where the price could be lower, or business, where it will obviously grow. Even he, however, can have several editions graded in options and price. In any case, it will depend a lot on whether it can highlight the advantages of its product in such a way that it forces even an ordinary user to buy such a device. In general, the fact that it is primarily a hobby still applies. And will you want to pay that much for it?
