It is already a rule that practically immediately after the end of the Apple keynote, the conference participants have the opportunity to try out the products that have just been presented and thus convey the first impressions to the public. This also applies this time in the case of the new iPhones 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max, on which journalists have different opinions and evaluate their design differently.

Most of the first impressions so far mainly revolve around the new camera and hand in hand with it also around the changed design of the phones. For example, journalist Chris Davies from SlahGear admits that he doesn't like the square camera, especially compared to last year's iPhone XS. On the other hand, he acknowledges that the final design presented by Apple looks much better than the various leaks suggested. It is clear that in Cupertino they paid attention to the processing and the fact that the back is made of one piece of glass adds only positive points.

Dieter Bohn from The Verge also expressed a similar opinion. He notes that the camera is really big and quite prominent and notes that Apple doesn't even try to hide the square in any way. "I don't really like it, but everyone ends up using cover anyway, so that might help." he concluded by evaluating the design of the camera. The journalist, on the other hand, praises the matte design of the glass back, which in his opinion looks better than the iPhone XS. Due to the matte finish, the phone may slip in your hand, but it looks elegant and the glass is more durable than ever before. Bohn also praises that the back is made from a single piece of glass.

Gareth Beavis from TechRadar magazine then focused on the iPhone 11's dual camera and gave a positive assessment of its capabilities. Newly, Apple did not use a telephoto lens as the second sensor, but an ultra-wide-angle lens, which allows you to capture the scene from a wider perspective and offers the so-called macro effect. "The quality of the pictures we managed to take with the phone was impressive. Although we could not test the camera in really poor lighting conditions, even the available tests were convincing," Beavis evaluates the camera of the cheaper iPhone.

Some technological YouTubers who received an invitation to the conference have already had time to comment on the new iPhone 11. One of the first is Jonathan Morrison, whose video is attached below. But you can also watch a number of other videos from foreign servers and thus get a fairly good picture of what the new Apple phones look like in reality.
