Apple today releases its new operating systems for its entire portfolio of products. As for tvOS 16.1 and HomePod OS 16.1, they are probably not blockbusters. But then there is also watchOS 9.1, iPadOS 16.1, iOS 16.1 and macOS Ventura with an influx of useful news, and there may be a problem with their availability.

Apple releases new operating systems for its products at one time for the whole world. As soon as 19:XNUMX falls, your device can detect the presence of a new update and can offer it to you to download and install. But it doesn't have to either. As it is a worldwide distribution, it is easy for the servers to become overwhelmed.

First of all, it may happen that you are not offered a new update immediately, but after some time has passed. This can happen even if you try to manually check for an update on your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Mac, etc. If it doesn't appear even after 19 p.m., there's no need to panic, just wait a while and try again a little later.

Here, however, it is worth pointing out the fact that updates to apple systems are usually quite data intensive. So it will take some time for them to be downloaded to your device, not only depending on the speed of the connection, but also on how people around the planet will try to take a similar step. Apple has a multibillion-dollar base of its devices, so there is no need to take your time and wait a while. It also has its advantages.

It's worth the wait

Not only will the update take an inordinately long time to download and your device will take longer to discharge, but the installation itself and above all the authorization may take a little longer. After all, every system is verified, and if the company's servers are overwhelmed, this step can take a really unreasonable amount of time, and after all, it can also fail.

Operating systems: iOS 16, iPadOS 16, watchOS 9 and macOS 13 Ventura

It's nice to have news available immediately, but sometimes it just pays not to push the saw. First of all, they will definitely not run away from you, because they will be available in an hour, two, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, a week or a month from now. Second, if the new systems happen to contain some kind of bug that Apple slipped through, we'll usually hear about it soon via social media. Not for nothing is the proverb used with this "Patience brings roses," which has been verified for many years. You will thus install the new system only after the company has repaired it in some hundredth version of the system.

We are definitely not telling you not to install the new systems, because we are also looking forward to them and will be installing them on our machines as well. We just want to say that you should not immediately curse Apple and give it some time. After all, Apple is unique when it comes to updating the operating systems used, because no one else does it in such a comprehensive way, be it Google with its Android or Samsung or Microsoft. No one simply has so many of their systems and so many devices for which they issue everything at one time.
