That is why you can buy various accessories not only from Apple, but also covers and many others directly in the Apple Store or online. In this regard, however, we can come across a minor point of interest. While covers for the iPhone are an absolute norm and are not missing from the apple company's offer, on the contrary, we would no longer find covers for AirPods here. Why doesn't Apple sell its own covers and cases for its headphones?

While cases and covers are a matter of course for the iPhone, we would not find them in the menu for the Apple AirPods. Apple growers therefore ask themselves a relatively simple question. Why? In fact, this whole situation has a rather simple explanation. For a smartphone in general, the cover is extremely important, as it fulfills its security function and is supposed to keep the device as such safe. In practice, therefore, it works as prevention - it protects the phone from the worst, for example in the event of a fall. Covers therefore go hand in hand with tempered glass, which in turn protects the display.

When we then look at the price of the iPhone and its theoretical susceptibility to damage, it becomes clear how important a role a simple cover can play. Since the arrival of the iPhone 8, Apple has relied on glass backs (models before the arrival of the iPhone 5 also had glass backs), which are logically a bit more prone to cracking. A high-quality cover or case can prevent all of this. Let's pour some pure wine - probably no user is willing to drop a phone worth more than 20 thousand crowns and be damaged as a result of the fall. The resulting repair can cost several thousand crowns.
But now let's move on to the most important thing. So why doesn't Apple sell AirPods cases? When we look at the market, we find literally hundreds of different cases, which can differ from each other not only in design and execution, but also in material and many other properties. But they always have one thing in common - none of them comes from the workshop of the Cupertino giant. Although the Cupertino giant has never commented on the matter, it is quite easy to guess what is behind it all.
