There are a lot of football games and applications on the Appstore, especially now that the World Cup in Africa is in full swing. In addition to football, the Zombie theme is also experiencing a similar boom in the Appstore, which has really been going on for a long time and is well represented by applications such as Plants vs. Zombies, Zombie Wonderland or we all know Call of Duty (zombies).

As I mentioned, both "themes" are experiencing a momentary boom, so it would be a sin not to take advantage of it. That's exactly what the developers from Chillingo Ltd. thought of, who combined football and zombies and what came of it? An amazingly fun arcade called Pro Zombie Soccer!

Chillingo ltd. they have many game hits to their credit, such as Guerrilla Bob, which, in addition to great gameplay, also had a kind of attempt at a story, which is appreciated, because such games are so far in the Appstore like saffron. It is the story that is the strong point of the reviewed game Pro Zombie Soccer, and even if it is not narrated, but only in text form (knowledge of EN is necessary, of course), it is very interesting.

The main role is played by a guy named Jax, who is a hidden football talent, but unfortunately his dream of a playing career never came true, so he had no choice but to survive on the street among garbage and rats. But his monotonous life changes one night when he is ambushed and bitten (as usual) by a football Zombie named Julinho from FC Marcelona.

It's clear to Jax that he doesn't have much time left before he transforms, so he's determined to take a few zombies with him underground. His football knowledge and the special ball left by Julinho and of course you will help him in this journey.

The game is about killing zombies with a soccer ball, the direction and speed of which you determine with the touchpad on the left side of the screen. You will go through a total of eight environments, each containing 2-3 levels. The surroundings are very nicely done in terms of graphics and, above all, they are not too monotonous, which pleases. You can't talk about monotony even with Zombies, because there are a total of about 10 different "types" in the game, each of which has a different advantage, if I can call it that.

The gameplay is really great, you can try blasting heads while sprinting, in the dark, using various special modes, and there will be a bonus level as well. In terms of graphics, the game is beautiful and at times it reminded me of the drawings in the story telling Danglar's work, which I'm a big fan of. But I attach a big minus to the authors, for the missing option to adjust the size of the touchpad, the default size of which sometimes did not suit me. Apart from this little thing, which will be solved without problems by a possible update to the game, I really can't fault anything and I warmly recommend it to everyone.
