Michal Marek After a successful launch in Australia and Turkey, Prague developer studio Cleevio announced the launch of a social gaming network yesterday game in the Czech Republic. The game is now available for download on the Czech App Store for the iOS operating system, and on Friday, May 1, 2015, it will also be available for phones using the Android platform.
"Gamee is a new concept of a social game network that offers playing catchy mini-games and sharing the best score achieved with friends both within the created profile directly in Gamee and via Facebook or Twitter. You can find all the games in one place within Gamea, so you won't have them filling up your phone's memory," Božena Řežábová, who, together with the Cleevio team, is behind the creation of the mobile game network, described the application.
"Currently, Gamee features various genres of games from arcade to jumping, car racing, puzzle to retro snake games. Every two weeks, a new game will be added to Gamee, and you can play all of them both on your smartphone and in a web browser."

All the games on offer are very simple, and on the part of the developers, this is a kind of modern follow-up to the concept of the games of the first game consoles. Games in Gamee are designed to reduce your time on the bus or in the waiting room, and the developers want to keep this concept. Therefore, no more complex and sophisticated games will be added to the platform in the future.
“All games in Gamee are and always will be free. It is being developed for the application by the Cleevio studio team in Prague in cooperation with other game developers who are interested in publishing their game on this platform. In the future, custom-made games for brands and products should ensure income, but currently we are fully focused on developing as many quality games as possible, launching them in other countries and reaching the maximum number of users," said Lukáš Stibor from Cleevio.
A platform for importing your own games will be ready for all developers in the coming months. Thanks to this service for third-party developers, the authors of the application expect to fill the database with hundreds to thousands of games in the future.
After its opening, the platform will work on a similar principle to the App Store. In short, the developer submits his game with a description and previews for approval, and the Cleevio developers will take care of publishing it if it is fine. The games inside Gamee are programmed in HTML5, so they are completely cross-platform and can be played anytime, anywhere.
What is interesting is that the games appear on a remote server that takes care of running the application, and each game is downloaded to the phone only at the moment of its first launch. This does mean that you won't be able to play a new game for the first time when you are without an internet connection, but at the same time, it has the advantage that developers can add games smoothly and at a decent pace without having to update Gamee and leave their the application must always go through Apple's approval process, the length of which is unfathomable.

What certainly cannot be neglected is the social character of Gamea. This platform is a social network with everything, and its environment will strongly remind you of any other well-known social network such as Instagram or Twitter. The first screen is labeled "Feed" and you'll find a summary of all the activity happening on Gamee. Your friends' successes and failures, newly added games, future promoted games, and more. There is also a "Game" tab, which is simply a catalog of available games.
Furthermore, in the application we will find rankings that evaluate your success in individual games as well as the overall gaming experience displayed on a visually attractive ranking. Next, we have the "Friends" tab where you can find your friends that you can add to Gamee via Facebook, Twitter and from your phone book, and the last section is your own profile.
The concept of games in HTML5 also adds to the social aspect of the game. After each game, you have the opportunity to share your result with a reaction in the form of a smiley locally on Gamee as well as on Facebook or Twitter. Your result will then be uploaded to these social networks with a link to the web version of the game, and your friends or followers will be able to play it immediately in their browser and try to beat you.
With their unique approach, which is intended to attract the attention of the just-mentioned social aspect, a large number of catchy games and the overall simplicity and friendliness of the platform, the Gamee developers want to achieve millions of users already in the first year after the launch of the service.
