If you are among the lovers of the apple company, you most likely have today's date, i.e. October 5, circled in your calendar. However, the color of the ring is definitely different from the others. On October 5, 2011, Steve Jobs, who was considered the father of Apple, left our world forever. Jobs died at the age of 56 from pancreatic cancer, and it probably doesn't need to be reminded how important a person he was in the technological world. The father of Apple left his empire to Tim Cook, who still runs it today. The day before Jobs' death, the iPhone 4s was introduced, which is considered to be the last phone of the Jobs era at Apple.

The biggest media reacted to the death of Jobs right on that day, together with the biggest personalities of the world and the co-founders of Apple. All over the world, even a few days later, many people appeared at Apple Stores who simply wanted to at least light a candle for Jobs. Jobs, full name Steven Paul Jobs, was born on February 24, 1955 and was raised by adoptive parents in California. It was here together with Steve Wozniak that they founded Apple in 1976. In the eighties, when the apple company was booming, Jobs was forced to leave it due to disagreements. After leaving, he founded his second company, NeXT, and later bought out The Graphics Group, now known as Pixar. Jobs returned to Apple again in 1997 to take over the reins and help stave off the company's near-certain demise.

Jobs learned about pancreatic cancer back in 2004, and five years later he was forced to undergo a liver transplant. His health continued to deteriorate, and a few weeks before his death, he was forced to resign from the management of the Californian giant. He communicated this information to his employees in a letter that read: “I've always said that if there ever comes a day when I can no longer meet the responsibilities and expectations as an Apple CEO, you'll be the first to let me know. Alas, this day has just arrived.' As I mentioned in the introduction, Tim Cook was entrusted with the leadership of Apple at the request of Jobs. Even when Jobs was not at his best, he did not stop thinking about the future of the Apple company. As early as 2011, Jobs planned the construction of Apple Park, which is currently standing. Jobs died in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family.

We remember.
