The iPhone is a surprisingly useful tool for creating, managing and controlling presentations. The native Keynote application for the iPhone can handle a lot in this regard, and in terms of features, it has nothing to lose with its version for the iPad or Mac, although you are somewhat limited by the size of the display. In today's installment of our series on native Apple apps, we'll cover the absolute basics of working in Keynote for iOS.

To add a slide to a presentation in Keynote on iPhone, tap the “+” icon at the bottom of the screen. You can duplicate an image by selecting it in the left panel by clicking and choosing Copy. Then tap on the image you want to add the copied image behind and choose Paste. If you want to insert a slide from another presentation into your current presentation, open the presentation that contains the desired slide. Select an image in the panel on the left, click Copy. Then click the arrow in the upper left corner to go back, launch the slide show you want to insert the slide into, click the slide behind which you want to insert the copied content in the left panel, and choose Insert. To delete a picture, first select the desired picture in the left panel, click on it and choose Delete. If you want to delete multiple images, hold your finger on one image, and at the same time, use the other finger to select additional images to delete. Then lift your fingers and tap Delete.

You can change the order of slides in Keynote on iPhone by placing your finger on the selected slide in the left panel and holding it until it comes to the front. Then drag the image to a new position. If you want to move multiple images, hold your finger on one of them and tap to select the other images.
