Alongside the expected iPhone 13, Apple should traditionally unveil the Apple Watch Series 7. Although more and more information is spreading about the upcoming Apple phones, we still don't know much about the watch. For now, there is talk of a lighter design change, which would bring the model closer to, for example, the iPad Pro, with a more powerful chip and slightly thinner bezels. However, there is new talk of an overall increase in both models, from the original 40 mm and 44 mm to 41 mm and 45 mm.

We last saw a similar size change with the arrival of the Apple Watch Series 4, which went from 38 mm and 42 mm to the current size. Respected leaker DuanRui on the Chinese social network Weibo has only now come up with this information. His speculation almost immediately began to spread on the Internet, and Apple enthusiasts debated whether an increase of a mere millimeter actually made sense and was therefore even realistic. It didn't take long for a photo to appear confirming the change. The same leaker added to his Twitter a picture of a probably leather strap with the traditional inscription ".. "

At the same time, this fact outlines that the smaller model will also see the same change. This is also confirmed by history, namely the transition to a larger case size in the case of the aforementioned fourth generation. Moreover, since we are only a few weeks away from the presentation itself, it is already practically clear that cases and straps in new sizes are in production. But there's no need to hang your head over it. Existing straps should, as in the case of the previous transition, be seamlessly compatible with the new Apple Watch.

In any case, this year's generation will not (probably) bring any interesting news. For a long time, there has been speculation about the arrival of a sensor for non-invasive blood sugar measurement, which would be a huge advantage for diabetics. Although this technology is already being tested, for example, a leading analyst and editor of Bloomberg, Mark Gurman, previously shared that we will have to wait a few more years for this gadget. At the same time, he mentioned the arrival of a sensor for measuring body temperature already in the case of the Apple Watch Series 7.
