Peter Binder A new Czech insurance application from the eMan, s.r.o. development team has appeared in the App Store. This is the first application that provides real assistance in the event of an accident for clients of the Czech insurance company.
However, in order to provide help, you need to create a profile where you enter the necessary information personal information (name, surname, date of birth, driver's license number, telephone, e-mail) a data about your vehicle (vehicle type, factory make, license plate number, technical license number, model, insurance contract number). So what kind of help is it? The aid is divided into two groups – Accident a After the accident.
Proposal Accident is used to report damage in a few simple steps, and the application guides you throughout the filling process. I must say that from this point of view Pojišťovna is solved very well, because practically you just enter the data in the windows or choose from the prescribed options.
So reporting is very fast. The user must fill in common data related to the accident, such as the place and time of the accident, whether the police were called, the nature of the person involved, information about the insured, marking the points of collision or easily attaching photos. The insured is also entitled to free towing of the vehicle and can also request a replacement car. After that, just choose the option to send to Česká pojišťovna.
After the accident it serves as a guide to what to do if you are involved in an accident. Again, the user is guided with clear instructions leading to easy handling of the situation. This section also contains common questions including answers to the given problem (e.g. When to call the police for an accident? What to write down, etc.). This offer is also useful for clients of other insurance companies, as it can serve as informational assistance in the event of a traffic collision, which is certainly useful.
If you have successfully reported the accident and would like to resolve the remaining circumstances at the nearest Česká pojišťovna branch, just select the branch option on the bottom panel of the application. It will show you branches according to distance or alphabetical order, either in the form of a list or a map. The insurance company can also call an ambulance or dial the fire brigade, rescue service or the police of the Czech Republic. If users do not know how to do something, they can use the help in the application settings.
If I had to summarize the Pojišťovna application, it is a handy helper on the road, which people with insurance at Česká pojišťovna will certainly appreciate. Clients of other insurance companies less so, but can still use the information contained in the After an accident offer. As for the control - it is solved very well and you practically do not get lost somewhere. In terms of graphics, the application is nicely designed and in the colors of Česká pojišťovna. Plus it's free.
I hope this app will force other insurance companies to create their own successful iOS version so that insurance people at competitors can also use a similar effective helper.

I'm not a client of Česká pojišťovna, but the application is a really great idea and I immediately insist that my insurance company implement it :D
After axa surprised me with an application looking into the pension fund, this seems perfect to me. Keep going and sell the idea to other insurance companies!! And I can't wait for some ebanking app ;)
