The best specs and highest performance may not always be the most important thing. Or yes? The competition is still racing to see who can deliver the most, whether it's camera resolution or charging speed. The MWC22 fair then showed what individual companies are planning for their customers in the coming months. Of course, we can't avoid comparisons with Apple products in a certain respect. There are interesting laptops here, as well as smartphones or the fast charging technology that the iPhone desperately needs.

Samsung Galaxy Book2 series

Samsung does not only stand behind mobile devices, TV and AV technology or home appliances. For a long time, they have also been trying to produce portable computers, which of course also carry the Galaxy label. The new products have touch screens with S Pen support and benefit especially from mutual cooperation with Microsoft, because they run on Windows 11, in which you can already run Android applications, but you can also use a Samsung tablet as a second display. The only flaw is that the Galaxy Book2 Pro, Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 and Galaxy Book2 Bussines models will not be available in the Czech Republic. So, for example, with the next generation. It's a shame that Samsung doesn't realize the power of Apple's co-branded product ecosystem and doesn't try to provide its solution globally.

Up to 200W charging

Chinese company Realme presented a new charging technology it calls UltraDart. It should be able to charge smartphones with a power of 100 to 200 W, while the first device that should support the technology is the Realme GT Neo3 smartphone. Although it can handle "only" 150 W, it will still be a pioneer in charging speeds. The company Realme should not be completely underestimated, because it is growing rapidly, where it scores points with customers mainly with quality equipment available at affordable prices. The UltraDart technology is supposed to be able to charge the smartphone from 0 to 50% in just 5 minutes, which is truly impressive. After a thousand cycles, the battery should still have 80% of its capacity.

Honor Magic4

At this year's MWC, we didn't see many phones, that is, those that belong to the highest category. Actually, this is just the Oppo Find X5 Pro and that's it Honor smartphones from the Magic4 series. Their specification is not so interesting, which includes an LTPO OLED display with a size of 6,81 inches and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip with 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 128 to 512 GB of internal memory, or in the case of a higher model, 64MPx periscopic telephoto lens with 3,5x optical and 100x digital zoom and depth ToF 3D sensor. The main thing is that Honor is back, because after the imposition of sanctions by the US, it already offers Google Play and Google functions.

Nokia and models for undemanding

It is true that there is more talk about those devices that are packed with technology and that also have a correspondingly high price tag. Those from the second spectrum are talked about much less, even though they also have their own really large group of users. At Apple, you won't find any low-end model of its iPhone, but the former number one brand Nokia, always trying to keep pace with the market. However, at MWC22, instead of the best, it presented the worst. Although it is not the most ideal designation.

Thus, Nokia introduced a trio of models named C21, C21 Plus and C2 2nd Edition. Their advantage is not only the price, but the fact that they run a stripped-down Android 11 Go, so really basic users will reach for these models. You can say with your hand on your heart that even Apple's iOS is growing considerably and you are slowly getting lost in it. However, Android also thinks about the less experienced. The most equipped of the series has a 6,5" display with a resolution of 1 × 600 pixels and a 720MPx camera supplemented by a 13MPx depth sensor.
