Casting Frankenstein's monster in an ad probably required a certain amount of courage. While the ad itself is quite cute, those who have read the book know that this bloody monster is not very memorable for the Christmas holidays. As you may notice, all of Apple's ads going back five years were released between November 20th and 25th. Of course, this is not entirely a coincidence, because November 25th is Thanksgiving Day in the US, a religious holiday in which people give thanks to God, although it is commonly celebrated by people of no religion. The traditional interpretation is that Thanksgiving was first celebrated by the Pilgrim Fathers together with friendly natives in the fall of 1621. So when will Apple release its highly anticipated Christmas ad this year? Most likely, it will be next week, that is, from Monday the 22nd to Thursday the 25th of November.
