After a short Christmas break, the monthly video report of how the construction (currently more like the finishing touches) of the new Apple headquarters complex called Apple Park is going on. The first video of the year has appeared on YouTube, which provides us with footage from the scene of the crime, and quite a lot has changed since the last one. You can watch the video below in up to 4K resolution.

In Cupertino, California, temperatures hit 20 degrees Celsius, and the work really sucks. The most fundamental change since the December video is the fact that there is essentially no heavy equipment in the entire area. Two small cranes are visible near the main building, and a larger one is built in the corner of the whole area. Otherwise, almost all the big bulldozers, excavators, etc. are gone. Landscaping is basically done, paving and asphalting of roads as well. In some places, there are still unfinished business, but these are just small things that should be completely finished in a few weeks.

Now it's basically just waiting for grass to grow wherever there's been some landscaping done (and that's pretty much everywhere). The sports fields are already ready, the planting of trees, saplings and bushes is probably also done. The biggest changes in the future will mainly be about the increase in greenery. As soon as the grass starts to grow in the area, it will raise the overall appearance of the entire complex to another level. This year should be the year when Apple Park will finally be 100% finished. And this state is certainly not far away.
