Pocket Informant is a popular calendar and to-do list for Blackberry and Windows Mobile phones. Immediately after the opening of the Appstore, information appeared that Pocket Informant was also coming to the iPhone. Supporters of this software cheered, but 6 months have passed and the organizer is nowhere to be found.

Dance from WOIP so he set out to find out more information and the news for us is very optimistic. Pocket Informant will be presented at the Macworld exhibition, where users will be able to try a working beta. Danc was even lucky enough to try Pocket Informant already.

Kalendář

In addition to classic views of the agenda, the calendar also allows a high degree of customization for individual days, weeks or months. These overviews can be viewed not only classically in portrait, but also in landscape mode.

Taskmaster

The task list is perfectly usable, it is clear and, like the calendar, it allows for a high degree of customization. Of course it counts and with the GTD approach (getting things done), so there are items like inbox, projects, context and other tasks. There is also search, as this program is expected to be full of data.

Customization is an important element, thanks to which it replaces the classic native Calendar program in iPhone for many users. This gives you full control over the output of this program, including the ability to use different GTD methods.

If you are asking about synchronization, so Pocket Informant solved this question perfectly. The calendar will be synchronized via Google Calendars and the to-do list will use Toodledo servers for synchronization. Pocket Informant doesn't mind multiple calendars in Google Calendars and can fully utilize them, including the correct coloring.

Pocket Informant is still not in its final form, but the current version is nearing Release Candidate. Although the release date is not yet known, it is assumed that in about a month or two we could finally wait.
