Titles from  TV+ won a Daytime Emmy Award

Last year saw the unveiling of a streaming platform from Apple that focuses on original content. Although many users still prefer competing services, on  TV+ we can already find a number of very interesting titles that are very popular among viewers. Now the Californian giant has reason to celebrate. Two series from his workshop received the Daytime Emmy Award. Specifically, the show Ghostwriter and Peanuts in Space: Secrets of Apollo 10.

Photoshop for iPad has received great news

At the end of last year, the renowned company Adobe finally released Photoshop for iPad. Although the creator of the graphics programs promised that this would be a full-fledged version of the software, after the release we immediately found out that the opposite is true. Fortunately, immediately after the mentioned release, we received a statement according to which there will be regular updates, with the help of which Photoshop will constantly get closer to a full-fledged version. And as Adobe promised, it delivers.

We have recently received a brand new update, which brings with it great news. The Refine Edge Brush and the tool for rotating the desktop have finally made their way to the version for iPads. So let's look at them together. As the name suggests, the Refine Edge Brush is used to make the selection as precise as possible. We can apply it in the case of tricky objects, when we need to mark, for example, hair or fur. Fortunately, with its help, the activity is completely simple, when the selection itself looks quite realistic and will facilitate your further work.

Furthermore, we finally got the aforementioned tool for rotating the desktop. Of course, it is perfectly optimized for the touch environment, where you can rotate the surface by 0, 90, 180 and 270 degrees using two fingers. The update is now fully available. If you don't have automatic updates enabled, just visit the App Store and download the latest version manually.

Virtualization causes spontaneous system crash in macOS 10.15.6

Unfortunately, nothing is flawless, and from time to time a mistake may appear. This also applies to the latest operating system macOS 10.15.6. In it, the error causes the system to crash on its own, especially when using virtualization software such as VirtualBox or VMware. Even the engineers from VMware themselves looked at this defect, according to which the just-mentioned operating system is to blame. This is because it suffers from a leak of reserved memory, which causes an overload and a subsequent crash. Virtual computers run in the so-called App Sandbox.

The task of this is to ensure that the aforementioned PCs have a certain amount of performance and do not overload the Mac itself. This is exactly where the error itself should be located. Engineers from VMware should have already alerted Apple to the problem, providing extensive information about possible reproduction and the like. In the current situation, it is not even clear whether the error also applies to the developer or public beta version of macOS 11 Big Sur. If you often work with virtualization and the mentioned problem also plagues you, it is recommended that you turn off the virtual computers as often as possible, or restart the Mac itself.
