The Taiwanese brand OZAKI entered the Czech market in August 2013 with crazy original products. The company's vision is to produce really stylish, functional covers and accessories especially for Apple devices. Ozaki is based on design, originality and current fashion trends.

It is obvious that there are many companies in the Czech Republic that manufacture or import covers and gadgets for Apple devices, but few create their products with quality and at the same time style like Ozaki. I've looked at covers from other brands in stores before that had at least the same initial idea - to create something crazy - but their quality was mostly worthless.

When I first saw Ozaki's cover with my own eyes, I was pleasantly surprised. Cover O! coat, which I received for testing, comes in seven colors. Each color represents an animal - for example, a crocodile, a bear, a koala or a pig. The cover is made of a very pleasant material that is resistant to dirt. Simply wipe off any dirt with a sponge or wet cloth and the cover looks like new again.

The Ozaki O!coat cover consists of two parts. From the adhesive foil to which the polishing cloth is attached, and from the cover itself. You stick the foil on the back of the iPhone and snap the cover over it. The case is quite robust, so you can partially erase the advantage of the iPhone as a thin phone with this case. The back of the case is convex, so the iPhone does not look like a brick, but has a rounded shape. This newly created shape of the iPhone helps to better handle the phone.

A tongue-shaped stand is hidden on the back of the cover. In order to "crawl out" the stand, you only need to squeeze it in the upper part. Its interior is made of metal material, so you don't have to worry about it breaking or twisting over time. iPhone with Ozaki O!coat can be placed both horizontally and vertically.

The function of the foil is closely related to the stand. In the case of Ozaki O!coat, it does not primarily serve as protection (it is hidden under the plastic cover), but as a design accessory. Once you uncover the tongue, thanks to the foil you can see right up to the mouth of the individual animals. In the case of the cover I tested, I was looking into a bird's beak.

Impressions from testing are positive. The iPhone with Ozaki O!coat feels good in the hand, the workmanship is very impressive, the cover is original and crazy. Ignoring the fact that the iPhone is a bit wider due to the cover, I think the case has only one downside. The front of the iPhone is not protected in any way. The sides of the Ozaki O!coat end half a millimeter below the display, so when you place the iPhone face down, you're placing it directly on top of the exposed display, and that's not good.

For 929 crowns, you will not get complete protection for your iPhone, but you will get a very original and eccentric case with high-quality workmanship.

The maker of these crazy covers has many more covers and gadgets on offer. For example, an iPad cover that looks like a bible, a camera lamp that you can pair with an iOS device to monitor your surroundings, or a passport-style iPhone case. Ozaki has its own distinct style and their designs are seriously appealing. Their portable external battery is also interesting. It's a robot that looks like old square lentil containers. It can be seen that if things are done properly, even crazy things can be used well for a long time and are not just a matter of one day.

We would like to thank the agency Whispr, which represents the company TCCM, importing OZAKI brand products to the Czech market, for the loan.
