The development studio Omni Group decided to make a rather complicated change. His popular GTD tool OmniFocus has just been released in the App Store as a universal application for iPhone and iPad, which costs $40. In addition, version 2.1 also brings several new features.

To begin with, we will stop at the new unified application. Until now, there was OmniFocus for iPhone and OmniFocus for iPad, each version costing a lot of money. Hence the Omni Group came with the system, so users don't have to pay again.

Users who purchased OmniFocus 3 for iPhone and iPad before April 2015, 2 will receive $10 back. Just send copies of receipts from iTunes to the developers (sales@omnigroup.com). The Pro version subscription can also be converted to a universal application. You can find more information about the transition from previous versions to universal OmniFocus here.

Thanks to the new application for iPhone and iPad, we can also use the landscape mode, Review modes, so-called Project Perspectives and grouping and sorting functions in OmniFocus on the phone.

Subscribers to the Pro version will get the ability to customize the home screen and widget in the Notification Center.

For new users, OmniFocus 2 for iPhone and iPad can be purchased for 40 euros.
