Apple continues its "Shot on iPhone" campaign. The new ad focuses on equality between people and comes with commentary for the first time. Poet Maya Angelou took care of it, which Steve Jobs also liked.

The one-minute spot is not only part of the "Shot on iPhone" campaign, but also a campaign for the ongoing Olympic Games in Rio, Brazil. The video is composed of eighteen photos and videos of selected faces and focuses on equality between people as such.

For the first time ever, the footage is accompanied by commentary. In this case, it is a reading of the poetry collection "Human Family" by the late Maya Angelou.

Angelou was not only a successful American poet, but also a writer, film producer and activist. In 2000, for example, she won a national medal for art. She was also a favorite of Apple's former boss, Steve Jobs. He wanted her voice commentary for the world-famous "Think Different" campaign in 1997, but he didn't succeed.
