Nike has released the latest edition of the legendary Huarache sneakers, which have been on sale since 1991. The latest, somewhat futuristic generation will especially interest Apple fans. The new sneakers feature FitAdapt technology, which is also newly connected to Siri and Apple Watch.

FitAdapt technology was widely talked about last year. It is an automatic shoe lacing system that should, in practice, tighten the laces as the user needs. The new version of this technology connects with Siri, or with the Apple Watch, and will thus allow owners of Apple products even more options for individualizing the lacing settings.

In the accompanying Nike Adapt app, it will be possible to set the type of activity you intend to do, as well as choose the type of your foot for the most uncomfortable way to tighten the shoe. The application will also contain specific presets for individual types of activities. Bringing Siri and Apple Watch into the loop offers an extra layer of control. The Nike Adapt app can also work with Shortcuts, so you'll be able to "program" your shoes as you like.

If you want to ride the wave of technological progress in footwear, prepare a proper package. The new Nike Huarache sneaker will go on sale in the US on September 13th for $349. A few of them will probably reach the Czech Republic, but the price will be very high. For your money, in addition to the aforementioned, you get both a debatably futuristic design and special RGB LEDs that can be adjusted to your liking (and mood).
