Apple computers have long been rightly criticized for their FaceTime camera for handling video calls. For quite a long time, it offered a resolution of only 720p, which was sad, especially in the time of the coronavirus. However, even the Californian giant decided that such a resolution is simply not enough, and put a camera with a fairly decent 1080p quality in its high-end computers. This camera is currently part of, for example, the 24″ iMac with the M1 chip.

But it wouldn't be Apple if it didn't try to edit the resulting video with software. From what we heard at the Keynote, your shots should look significantly better than on older PCs, thanks to both the better camera and software tweaks. I don't think the camera is the main thing that will convince you to buy a new MacBook, and rather than an improvement, I see this news as catching up with the competition, which has long offered better cameras in this price range. Finally, it is worth adding that you can pre-order the machines now, and they will be available on October 26 at the earliest. You can read information about prices in the articles attached below.
