Sygic iPhone navigation has received its first update. There was really room for improvement, as the competition's navigation was one step further. A new version of the Pocket Informant tool has also appeared on the Appstore for better organization of time, in which, for example, push notifications appear.
Sygic has added the much-requested contact navigation to iPhone navigation. Now all you have to do is select a contact and if you have an address entered in it, Sygic will guide you to this contact. But much more important is the improved positioning and smoother navigation movement. If you are used to playing music from your iPod while navigating, now the transitions between playing music and voice instructions are smoother. And after the call ends, the navigation automatically continues to navigate, you no longer need to click the Accept button. You can see the new features in the video.
Pocket Informant also received a new version. The new version has been worked on for a very long time, so it is not surprising that it brings a lot of new things. You can find the complete list at Pocket Informant website. The most important features include push notifications for meetings from the calendar and for tasks, automatic synchronization to the website as soon as you add a task, the settings have been completely redesigned for greater clarity, filtering events and todo according to the selected calendar. In addition, Pocket Informant also supports landscape usage, the new Toodledo mode for the to-do list, and much more. But you need at least iPhone OS 1.1 to run Pocket Informant 3.0.
I wanted to ask about Pocket Informant. When I create an event, does the synchronization from Google Calendar take place automatically or do I have to do a manual synchronization every time?
Thanks David
In the new version of PI, synchronization is performed automatically every 45 minutes. If you want to synchronize immediately, just shake the iPhone lightly.
In this case, you only need synchronization to have an alarm - you set something on the Internet and want it to notify you even if you don't turn on the PI. But this can be arranged using Exchange for Google calendar. Which works reliably.
Otherwise, my question is a bit out of the question, on the iPhone in Safari, I fell in love with the control that if I double-click on the text/part of the page, it automatically zooms and fits. Is there something like this for pc? I couldn't find it in Safari on PC...
PS can anyone use exchange in iphone in addition to native apps?
