The fourth generation Apple TV has been talked about for a long time. Apple was originally supposed to introduce it in June, but that didn't happen in the end, and according to the latest information, it will finally do so in September. We can expect Apple TV with App Store and Siri.
With a September date for the launch of the new Apple TV he came John Paczkowski of BuzzFeed, which already in March for the first time informed about what the new set-top box from Apple should look like.
According to his original information, the presentation of the fourth generation should have taken place already in June, but Apple managers at the last minute decided to postpone the release. Now Paczkowski's sources are talking about September, when Apple TV should no longer face any delays.
In September, Apple usually introduces new iPhones, and it is not yet certain whether it will choose this keynote to launch the much-awaited set-top box. A new and thinner chassis is expected, which will house an A8 processor, and there will also be a new controller. He would could have come with a touchpad for easier control.
But the key news will be voice control using Siri and the presence of the App Store, when third-party applications will be launched on Apple TV for the first time in history. This can open the Apple set-top box to completely new and endless possibilities.
Apple TV has not received an update since 2012, which is why the eyes of most users are focused on the upcoming fourth generation. According to BuzzFeed however, the much-talked-about Internet TV service isn't coming until September. We will probably have to wait until next year for it.
Jo!
Well, if there is a new Apple TV I will be happy, after all the controls and UX are not much, especially music, photo stream and airplay sometimes behaves strangely there. Another thing is that Apple should pay more attention to Apple TV after so many years because there is really potential to use the TV at home to the fullest. After a slight mess with aWatch, I think it would improve its reputation a bit if it managed to integrate Apple music with it and perhaps contract for satellite TV or programs.
Don't worry, the control will definitely be better than it is now - we know Apple - as they improved the design of iOS and OS X, so will Apple TV...
Are you one of those people who would like to have the same old-fashioned design around forever?
And you are probably one of those who don't mind oversaturated, garish colors like from a circus, thin, hard-to-read writing, no distinction between active and inactive elements, no distinction between form and content, and the ubiquitous white color...
Yes, it doesn't matter, I don't have the slightest problem with reading the font, the size can even be set, and I don't have a problem recognizing the elements at all. Not once have I clicked on something that was not clickable.
