We are less than a month away from the official launch of the Apple TV+ streaming service. It wasn't long ago that Tim Cook made it clear that he didn't see Netflix as a competitor, and it looks like existing Netflix subscribers don't see Apple TV+ as a service they'd like to switch to, according to the latest Piper Jaffray survey. This was confirmed by analyst Michael Olson.

In its report to investors, Piper Jaffray says that, according to its survey, roughly 75% of existing Netflix subscribers are not considering subscribing to one of the new streaming services, whether it's Apple TV+ or Disney+. At the same time, Netflix subscribers who plan to try one of the new services also want to keep their current subscription.

According to Piper Jaffray, Netflix customers tend to subscribe to multiple streaming services at once, which is good news for Apple from one point of view. "The majority of existing Netflix subscribers appear to be moving toward multiple subscriptions, primarily as part of an effort to reduce fees for traditional TV services," Olson said.

Tim Cook said in a recent interview that Apple isn't looking to compete with existing streaming services, but instead is trying to be "one of them." The operation of the Apple TV+ service will officially start on November 1, the monthly subscription will be 139 crowns. A few days later, the broadcast of the Disney+ streaming service will be launched, the monthly subscription of which will amount to approximately 164 crowns.
